I am the Pastor to Students at Crossroads Church in Portland, OR. I grew up in Southern California, in a small town called Yucca Valley. After graduating high school, I interned with my youth pastor for a few years where I fell in love with youth ministry. I moved to Portland to attend school at Multnomah University where I graduated in 2016 with my BA in Bible & Theology and in Youth Ministry. I got hired on at Crossroads on June 1, 2017. I was immediately told about Mission 4 Mexico by my senior pastor, Chris Blair, who recommended that we get involved with the trip the following year. I started attending board meetings that August. One of my passions in Youth Ministry is empowering students to lead and it quickly became apparent that that was one of the main goals of the trip. My first M4M trip was in 2018 and I completely fell in love with it. As a youth pastor, it brought me so much joy to see students in charge of every aspect of the trip from leading morning devotionals, meal times, worship, to even leading the building projects! I knew I wanted Crossroads to be a part of this mission and so when I was nominated to become a board member it was an easy decision to accept. I have only been on the board since 2018 but I look forward to seeing where God continues to lead M4M!
